16 arrested in health care fraud scheme

Sixteen people were arrested Thursday, charged with participation in an $18 million health care fraud scheme.

Sixteen people were arrested Thursday, charged with participation in an $18 million health care fraud scheme.

The defendants, all associated with Manor Medical Imaging Clinic in Glendale and Huntington Pharmacy in San Marino, allegedly prescribed anti-psychotic medications to Medicare and Medi-Cal patients who did not need them. The defendants also allegedly resold unused Abilify, Seroquel and Zyprexa pills to black market...
