Judicial Council set to approve $20 million grant for deployment of court case management system

A Los Angeles billionaire is in talks with the Judicial Council to help the courts roll out a statewide case management system which has been hobbled by budget cuts.

A Los Angeles billionaire is in talks with the Judicial Council to help the courts roll out a statewide case management system which has been hobbled by budget cuts.

The Judicial Council is expected to give the nod Friday to forge an agreement with Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, whose nonprofit foundation is already supporting development of a nationwide health care database.
