BrightSource to build solar project in Riverside
Oakland-based BrightSource Energy, Inc., recently announced its intention to build a 750 megawatt solar thermal project in Riverside County.

Oakland-based BrightSource Energy, Inc., recently announced its intention to build a 750 megawatt solar thermal project in Riverside County.
The project, "Rio Mesa," will consist of three 250 megawatt, solar-thermal plants. The company submitted an application for certification to the California Energy Commission on Oct. 14.
The project will be built on land belonging to the Metropolitan Water District and public land...
