Justice Signal Opposition to 'Miranda' Suit

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave a cool reception to the civil rights damages suit filed by an Oxnard farmworker who was grilled by a police officer for 45 minutes without a Miranda warning as he lay severely wounded in an ambulance and on into a hospital emergency room.
