Fiery Marshall Moves on to Third Round

LOS ANGELES - The waiting is always the hardest part. On Wednesday, members of John Marshall High School's mock-trial teams anxiously awaited the results of the first two rounds of the Constitutional Rights Foundation's 25th annual Mock Trial Program. The foundation had planned to post the results on its Web site by 3 p.m. But something went wrong. The clock slowly ticked by: 3:15, 3:45, 4:15.

Editor's note: This is the fourth in a series of stories on the participation of L.A.'s John Marshall High School in the Constitutional Rights Foundation's 25th annual Mock Trial Program, which began Nov. 4.
Part IV: On to Round 3.
