Sacramento DA won't seek re-election

Sacramento District Attorney Jan Scully announced Monday that she won't seek reelection when her current term expires at the end of 2014.

Sacramento District Attorney Jan Scully announced in a press release Monday that she will not seek reelection after her current term ends on Dec. 31, 2014.

While she described her emotions as "mixed," Scully did not state a reason for the decision. Her office said there would be no comment until Tuesday.
