9th Circuit Judge Raymond Fisher to take senior status

9th Circuit Judge Raymond C. Fisher will take senior status April 1, the federal appeals court announced Friday.

Circuit Judge Raymond C. Fisher will take senior status April 1, the 9th Circuit announced Friday. His departure from active judicial service will leave the 9th Circuit bench two judges short. President Bill Clinton appointed Fisher, 73, in 1999. Fisher said he will continue to hear cases and to maintain chambers in Pasadena.
