State sues energy companies for failing to maintain gas tanks

Attorney General Kamala D. Harris announced Wednesday she filed a lawsuit against energy companies Phillips 66 and ConocoPhillips Co. for their alleged failure to properly inspect and maintain underground tanks that store gasoline.
