Retirees can continue insurance benefit lawsuit against UC Regents

An appellate court ruling reversed part of the lower court's decision, which said the Lawrence Livermore Lab retirees improperly claimed violation of an implied contract promising health insurance.

Retirees from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory can go forward with their lawsuit against the UC Regents claiming they were wrongfully removed from a university-sponsored health insurance plan, a state appellate court ruled Monday.
