Recall Ruckus

Forum Column - By Art Torres - As Sen. Dianne Feinstein has said, this recall is a bad idea for California. The original intent of the initiative, referendum and recall process when the Progressives passed them into law early in the 20th century was to allow the people to be heard. In the case of initiative and referendum, it was to let the people correct their state Legislature when they believed that their will was not being abided by their representatives.
