Senators Confirm Bea for 9th Circuit
WASHINGTON - The Senate on Monday confirmed San Francisco Superior Court Judge Carlos T. Bea for a seat on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals by a vote of 86-0.
Nominated by President George W. Bush last April, Bea becomes Bush's fourth appointee to the 9th Circuit, joining Richard Clifton, Jay Bybee and Consuelo Callahan.
