Biotech Gilead Sciences Buys 16-Building Campus

Biotechnology company Gilead Sciences Inc. has purchased its Foster City campus for $123 million. Gilead acquired 16 buildings, totaling 496,000 square feet, from a subsidiary of Equity Office Properties Trust. Gilead had leased eight of the 16 buildings before the purchase, which closed earlier this month.
