Jurist Sets Trial Date for Celebrity Sleuth

LOS ANGELES - A Los Angeles federal judge Monday set an Oct. 8 trial for private investigator Anthony Pellicano after lawyers were unable to reach a deal to settle charges that the celebrity sleuth illegally possessed explosives at his Hollywood office.
