SFTLA Gains HMO Extension

SAN FRANCISCO - A San Francisco judge Thursday ordered one of the state's biggest HMOs to continue insuring some 200 local lawyers. Superior Court Judge Ronald Quidachay ordered Health Net of California to continue insuring members of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, at least until a court can determine whether the HMO breached its contract with the association by declining to renew coverage.
