Lawyer Was 'Bedrock' of Compton Legal Scene

LOS ANGELES - Wilmont Argen Odom Jr., the chief deputy city attorney and chief of the litigation staff for the city of Compton, has died. Odom died of a heart attack Sept. 3 at his home in Los Angeles. He was 61.
