'Rude' Council Acted Within Rights
LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles City Council members may prefer talking on cell phones or chatting with staffers to listening to the public. But their rudeness doesn't mean they have to hear a Lincoln Heights strip-club's petition to extend its operating hours over again, a Superior Court judge ruled Tuesday.
