County Counsel Union OKs Lesser Raise

SAN JOSE - The days of large salary increases have apparently come to an end for Santa Clara County's deputy county counsels. After securing a 15.5 percent pay hike two years ago and another increase last year to bring salaries for its most experienced lawyers to as much as $175,000, the County Counsel Attorneys Association has agreed to settle for less.
