Ashcroft Can't Interfere With Suicide Law
SAN FRANCISCO - The Justice Department can't block the nation's first physician-assisted suicide law by threatening criminal sanctions against doctors who provide lethal drugs to their terminally ill patients, a federal appeals court ruled Wednesday.
