Audience's Marriages Hanging in the Balance
SAN FRANCISCO - It was a decidedly pro-gay-marriage audience Tuesday at the California Supreme Court. A crowd outside the courthouse shouted down a pastor who preached against same-sex unions. Inside an overflow auditorium, meanwhile, a capacity crowd booed and hissed lawyers arguing to invalidate the marriages.
