U.S. Needs to Ratify Treaty Opposing Bias Against Women

Forum Column - By Kenneth J. Theisen - What do North Korea, Iran and the United States have in common? No, they are not the three countries that make up President Bush's axis of evil. They are three nations that have not ratified the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women treaty. The United States is the only industrialized nation that has not done so. Worldwide, 175 nations have ratified the treaty.
