On 'Brown' Anniversary, Court Comes Out Against Disability Bias
Forum Column - By Eve Hill - Although this week marks the 50th anniversary of the courageous and important Supreme Court decision in Brown v. Board of Education, in which the court found that separate education of black and white students was inherently unequal, and thus violated the Equal Protection Clause, today's Supreme Court - despite its racial and gender diversity - lags much of society in recognizing that discrimination still exists.
