Simpson Thacher guides Silver Lake's $10.3B technology fund

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP represented Menlo Park-based Silver Lake Management LLC in the private equity firm's establishment of Silver Lake Partners IV LP, a $10.3 billion technology fund, Silver Lake said Friday.
New York partner Jonathan A. Karen led the Simpson Thacher team, which also included Palo Alto tax partner Katharine P. Moir and associate Daniel Foster.
