Court upholds LA plastic bag ban

A trial court has upheld Los Angeles County's ban on single-use plastic bags, striking down a challenge to one of the ban's lesser-known provisions. Plastic bag manufacturer Hilex Poly Co. LLC and four county residents sued over the ban in October.
