Media Could Sway Unsequestered Peterson Jurors
Focus Column - Criminal Law - By Patrick Mattimore - For the next four or five months, Al Delucchi, the judge in the Scott Peterson trial, likely will deliver a nightly admonition to the jurors. He will tell them to disregard whatever they may hear or read outside the courtroom about the case, whatever the source. Delucchi will caution jurors that they should consider only the evidence that is produced in court.
