Edwin B. Stegman, a Santa Monica attorney and political activist, died in late July of a heart attack. He was 92.
Stegman was a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II before going on to receive his undergraduate and law degrees from USC. He served as president of the Santa Monica Democratic Club and would often write articles for local publications.
