Lawyer deemed inactive for taking advance fees for loan modification work

A Garden Grove lawyer already on trial for taking illegal advance fees for mortgage modification work has been put on inactive status for continued wrongdoing.

The State Bar Court has put a Garden Grove lawyer on involuntary inactive status for taking illegal advance fees for mortgage modification work even while he has been on trial for similar wrongdoing.


However, the defense attorney for Stephen Lyster Siringoringo said he believes the inactive status can be lifted.
