Plaintiffs in the long-running gender discrimination case against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. lost their bid to certify a new class on Friday. Judge Charles R. Breyer of the Northern District denied certification, finding, "Plaintiffs' newly proposed class continues to suffer from the problems that foreclosed certification of the nationwide class."
