Jury selection in Toyota unintended acceleration trial to continue Wednesday

The case is the first of many suits centering on sudden, unintended acceleration claims to be tried in California state court.

Selection of alternate jurors is expected to continue Wednesday after a three-day break in a highly anticipated trial against Toyota Motor Corp.


The court originally set opening statements for Wednesday after a 12-person jury was picked, but one juror was dismissed late Thursday, delaying the process.
