California lawmakers, including U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, are pushing to restore funding for a Silicon Valley satellite office of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.


The patent office has been looking to establish four satellite offices, including in Dallas, Denver and Detroit, ever since President Barack Obama signed the America Invents Act into law in 2011.
