Anthony E. Shafton, a longtime insurance attorney and founding partner of law firm Berger Kahn ALC who was known for his trial skills and quick wit, died on his birthday Wednesday. He was 72.

Anthony E. Shafton, a longtime insurance attorney and founding partner of law firm Berger Kahn ALC who was known for his trial skills and quick wit, died on his birthday Wednesday after being in poor health since April. He was 72.
