Age discrimination claims can proceed against auto insurer AAA

Auto insurer AAA has lost a bid to have an age discrimination lawsuit against it dismissed in Contra Costa County Superior Court.

Auto insurer AAA has lost a bid to have an age discrimination lawsuit against it dismissed in Contra Costa County Superior Court.

Ten former AAA agents sued the company in 2010, claiming they were forced to leave AAA despite being great performers. The former employees are all over 50 years old, and they allege that, beginning in 2001, AAA designed a plan to terminate older employees.
