Proskauer Los Angeles Specialty: litigation for media, entertainment and financial services industries


In 2002, a class comprised of thousands of writers over the age of 40 filed 23 separate lawsuits against various entertainment companies, alleging age discrimination. Twenty-two of the cases settled, netting a combined $74.5 million for the writers.
