The U.S. legal sector shed 1,400 jobs in August, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released Friday. The sector essentially returned to June levels, though the numbers bested those from August 2011.
The overall American job market added 96,000 nonfarm jobs in August, while the unemployment rate dropped from 8.3 percent to 8.1 percent, though the gain was lower than expected. <...
