August US legal job numbers down from previous month
The U.S. legal sector added legal services jobs in August, but the numbers were down from July, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The U.S. legal sector shed 1,400 jobs in August, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released Friday. The sector essentially returned to June levels, though the numbers bested those from August 2011.
The overall American job market added 96,000 nonfarm jobs in August, while the unemployment rate dropped from 8.3 percent to 8.1 percent, though the gain was lower than expected. <...
