Bridging the Gap
Forum Column - By David A. Lash - It is time to ensure that the judicial branch of our democracy exalts responsiveness over partisanship. President Bush ought to consider being proud of the judiciary rather than trying to silence it. For someone whose election resulted from the vote of a majority of judges rather than a majority of the electorate, his distrust of the judicial system is surprising.
