TiVo Wins Stay in Microsoft Case

SAN JOSE - TiVo Inc. won a tactical victory in a dispute with Microsoft Corp. that is part of a sprawling patent feud between the Alviso-based maker of digital video recorders and some of the largest companies in the nation.
