Legal Jobs Rise in April

The legal services sector added 1,500 jobs in April, according to the U.S. Labor Department. The largest increase since September, the boost means a net gain in employment over the past year.

The legal services sector added 1,500 jobs in April, the industry's largest gain since September.


The increase is a sign that law firms have cautiously returned to hiring, said Peter Ocko, managing director of the partner practice group at recruiting firm Major, Lindsey & Africa LLC.
