Howrey Lawyers Seek to Dismiss Petition

Attorneys for now-dissolved Howrey LLP are seeking to dismiss a petition for involuntary bankruptcy filed against the firm last month or transfer the case out of California.

SAN FRANCISCO - Attorneys for now-dissolved Howrey LLP filed a motion Tuesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District, urging Judge Dennis J. Montali to dismiss a petition for involuntary bankruptcy filed there against the firm last month or to transfer the case to a different venue.
