Latham & Watkins: NIPPON GOES FISHING IN NORTH AMERICAN MARKET
Nippon Suisan Inc. of Tokyo has agreed to purchase London Unilever, N.V.'s North American seafood operation, which comprises the Gorton's of Gloucester, Mass., and BlueWater Seafood of Canada brands, for $175 million in cash.
Nippon Suisan is a subsidiary of Nippon Suisan Kaisha Ltd., a Japanese seafood producer.
