Philidelphia Firm Merges With S.F.'s Hancock Rothert

SAN FRANCISCO - In a combination that will create one of the nation's largest insurance practices, Philadelphia-based Duane Morris has merged with Hancock Rothert & Bunshoft, a 60-lawyer San Francisco firm. The deal, agreed upon Oct. 11, becomes effective Jan. 1 and gives the combined firms 100 insurance lawyers in 19 offices.
