Ex-Lynwood Mayor Goes on Trial

LOS ANGELES - Continuing a string of public-corruption cases in Los Angeles County, former Lynwood Mayor Paul H. Richards is scheduled to go on trial in federal court today, charged with more than 20 counts of mail fraud and related charges for funneling city contracts to businesses he controlled.
