Panel OKs Resident Petitioners' Attorney Fees
LOS ANGELES - Bolstering a small town's efforts to keep ber-retailer Wal-Mart from opening another megastore in its burg, a state appellate court on Wednesday ruled that two San Marcos residents who successfully petitioned to block a second store in their city "conferred a significant benefit" on their fellow citizens and were entitled to attorney fees.
