Top Plaintiffs' Verdicts by Dollar--Pacesetter Inc. v. Nervicon Co. Ltd.


When a Los Angeles jury awarded St. Jude Medical subsidiary Pacesetter Inc. $2.3 billion in damages, defendants Yongning Zou and Nervicon Co. Ltd. weren't around to hear the verdict.


Zou, who left Pacesetter to join Nervicon, never appeared in court and defense attorney Joseph A. Meckes of Squire Sanders & Dempsey in San Francisco, pulled out of the case.
