George Looks Ahead to Bare-Bones Budget
SAN FRANCISCO - California's judiciary is seriously considering taking ownership of court reporter transcripts and increasing the use of electronic recording devices to meet the 10 percent cutback in its budget requested by the governor, Chief Justice Ronald George said Tuesday.
