9th Circuit Committee Is Investigating Billing By Court-Appointed Lawyers

Federal appellate committee looks into billing irregularities for work done by private attorneys who receive tax money.

A federal court committee is investigating several private attorneys in the Los Angeles area who receive taxpayer dollars, and is auditing other such attorneys circuitwide, the Daily Journal has learned.
