SAN FRANCISCO - Two legal recruiting firms confidentially settled a long standing dispute Monday over who deserves pay for helping Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp open a New York office in 2008. The two sides went into last minute settlement talks just minutes before jury selection was slated to begin in a trial before Magistrate Judge Edward M. Chen of the Northern District.
