'Renaissance' Lawyer Succumbs to Heart Attack

Los Angeles has lost its Renaissance man. Attorney and business trouble-shooter Harry L. Usher, who, with Peter Uebberoth, headed the memorable 1984 Summer Olympic Games and later helped raise the city from the ashes of the 1992 riots through the Rebuild L.A. campaign, died unexpectedly Wednesday at the age of 61.
