Howrey claims make judge skeptical

SAN FRANCISCO - U.S. District Judge James J. Donato appears poised to give another
victory to law firms fighting clawback cases from the bankruptcy estates of their
former competitors.


In a hearing Wednesday, Donato expressed deep skepticism towards the arguments made
on behalf of the Howrey LLP estate.
