Open-Government Ballot Measure OK'd
SACRAMENTO - The state Legislature approved an initiative Monday for the November ballot that would give Californians a constitutional right to inspect state and local government records and attend public meetings.
If approved by voters, the open-government measure called SCA1 would amend Article 1, Section 3, of the California Constitution.
