When the Recruiter Calls, Aim at the Bull's-Eye

Employment Column - By Valerie A. Fontaine - Many lawyers find that it is in their best interest to use a recruiter when exploring opportunities elsewhere. It also is often useful for lawyers to listen to recruiters even when not actively looking. In order for the recruiter to do his or her job, however, lawyers should relate to legal recruiters in a way likely to make the most of the lawyer-recruiter relationship.
