Most Area Firms Report Increases in Revenues, Profits

SAN FRANCISCO - After three dismal years capped by layoffs and the dissolution of major law firms including Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, Bay Area law firms found relief in 2003, with most reporting significant increases in revenues and per-partner profits.
